A holiday with Walk Slovenia is like no other, our unique blend of luxury accommodation, jaw-dropping scenery and friendly hospitality means a stay at our hotel is an experience you really won’t find anywhere else.

First off, our visitors usually stay for a full week - running Saturday to Saturday - so there’s plenty of time during a trip to immerse yourself in the surroundings. Lots of our guests use their visit as a real escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, to enjoy the quiet beauty and tranquillity of our surroundings. During your walks, you’re unlikely to meet anyone other than the occasional local resident, and we only welcome four to ten guests at a time so there’s lots of opportunity for both quiet solitude and socialising too. Whilst flights aren’t included in your holiday price we try to make the experience here as seamless and stress-free as possible. We run a pickup service to and from Ljubljana airport and one of the great advantages of being based at Pri Lenart is that once you’ve arrived, unlike other walking holidays, there’s no daily packing, unpacking or waiting for public transport during the rest of your trip - just relaxation.

Of course, the main reason for visiting us is in the title - Walk Slovenia. The walking trails in the area are so varied that any trip to us can feature any number of different routes. We tailor the walk to the needs, abilities and of course interests of the group, so sometimes we’ll take our time and point out the rare wildflowers that are native to the region, or take a stroll at a sedate pace along a level woodland path. On other days, there’ll be a hike high up into the mountains, finding challenging trails that give access to unparalleled awe-inspiring panoramas. We’ve also teamed up with experienced mountain guide Igor Kremser to offer the ability to don a climbing harness and experience the ascent of Triglav - this is the highest peak in Slovenia and is very close to our hearts as summiting Triglav is seen as a real rite of passage in Slovenia. Aside from guided walks, there are also a huge variety of well-signposted routes that you are able to explore at your leisure and we are always happy to give advice on the walks surrounding Pri Lenart. During your stay, you are of course welcome to do as much or as little walking as you wish.
