Many of our regular guests say this is their favourite time of year for a walking holiday in Slovenia – the summer heat has faded, making the weather ideal for hill walking. Temperatures are perfect, in the mid-teens to early 20s, and there’s a crispness and clarity to the air, which adds to the sensation of the year on the turn.
High up the colours of the trees start to change in mid-September, with the beech woods bursting into all shades of gold and amber, and the woods are carpeted with wild mushrooms, with many making their way onto our dinner table of course! One of our favourites is truffled wild mushroom tagliatelle, made with chanterelles, parasol mushrooms and the beautiful porcini mushrooms – for us, it’s the essence of autumn!
To celebrate the end of our season, we have a special offer of £100 per person off for the last few remaining rooms available, valid for all rooms except the Standard room; and we’re offering singles the Standard room with no single supplement.
We do hope to welcome you to Pri Lenart for a wonderful week of walking, relaxing and eating!
