The 2017 TripAdvisor Travellers Choice Awards have been announced, and we are thrilled to be named 11th Best Hotel in the World, 9th Best in Europe, and Number 1 in Slovenia. Getting to be best in a whole country and having a world ranking in any classification is such an honour -to be number 11 of an estimated 187,000 hotels worldwide is to be the top 0.01% - even though the 'Bargain' tag doesn't at first glance fit well with our luxury walking holidays and boutique hotel! 

The award is mainly calculated by the results of the 'Value for money' star rating on TripAdvisor reviews; so we have our guests who have reviewed us to thank entirely for this award. We are always blown away by the lovely reviews guests have written over the years, and send a huge thank you to them for taking the time to review us and for their kind and positive comments!

Of course, we mustn't forget to thank our wonderful staff, for their professionalism, high standards and quality of work they contribute - the award is theirs as much as ours, and we couldn't do it without them!
