TARIFF

 PLEASE NOTE: WE ONLY OFFER WEEK-LONG WALKING HOLIDAYS FOR ADULTS, WHICH RUN FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. Prices are for 7 nights' virtually all inclusive* walking holiday (please see below for details) and are per person, per week, based on two sharing a room. 

We still have a little availability in August and October 2013, and following a cancellation, there is also one superior room free from 15th-22nd June 2013. We are now taking bookings for 2014.

 We aim to offer transparent pricing with NO ADD-ONS OR NASTY SURPRISES when you add up the cost of your holiday. When comparing our prices with other holiday companies (who generally charge extra for local transport, all drinks and lunches etc), please bear this in mind!

PAYMENT TERMS: To secure your reservation, a deposit of £200 per person per week is payable at the time of booking, the remainder being payable 8 weeks before departure. For reservations made less than 8 weeks before departure, the full holiday price is payable at time of booking. We regret all card payments incur a 3% surcharge, but it is possible to pay by bank transfer to our UK business account or by cheque with no charge.

 * WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF YOUR HOLIDAY:

Transportation to and from Ljubljana airport for the Saturday Easyjet Stansted to Ljubljana flight, (a taxi can be arranged to meet other flights (payable)

All local transport  for walking programme in our own air-conditioned minibus

Accompanied walks 5 days a week

Tea and coffee facilities in your room, together with biscuits and chocolates

Extensive breakfast, including cooked option.

6 lunches (packed)

Afternoon tea with home-made cake after walking (except if visiting the National Park, when we return too late for tea)

Aperitif, canapes and 3 course dinner 6 days a week

Quality house wine with dinner followed by house liqueurs

Transport  to Skofja Loka on free day, with the possibility of continuing on to Ljubljana

Free WiFi internet access throughout hotel

Bathrobe for use during stay and a selection of luxury toiletries

All rooms have a TV and DVD player, safe and hairdyer

Please note that the kitchen is closed one day per week (on the free day, Wednesday) and lunch can be taken at a choice of local restaurants. In the evening we arrange (and provide transport for) a traditional Slovenian dinner for our guests at a local organic farm (lunch and dinner not included).

What’s not included:

Flights (or other transport) to and from Ljubljana airport, and airport transfers for flights other than the Saturday afternoon Easyjet Stansted to Ljubljana flight (taxi can be arranged on request) 

Drinks other than as stated above

Any admission charges

Extra meals, drinks and snacks taken while out 

Lunch and dinner one night a week when the restaurant is closed

Supplement for single occupancy (please see below for details)

SPECIAL DIETS, FOOD ALLERGIES ETC: As we are just a husband and wife team we are now finding it almost impossible to cater for the increasing number and complexity of special restricted diets requested, (e.g. wheat or dairy free; vegan etc). We regret that we are not able to cater for these exclusion diets (other than vegetarians who eat normal dairy produsts and eggs). Please advise us at the time of booking of any  foods not eaten or we regret we may be unable to cater specifically for you when you are on holday.

SINGLE GUESTS: We warmly welcome solo travellers, and offer our Standard room (Lubnik) for single occupancy with a supplement of £30 per night. If you wish to stay in a Superior or Deluxe room there is a supplement of £70 per night.

CHILDREN: Please note we do not accept children under the age of 16 years, due to the nature of the hotel and the unsuitabliity of the walking for children. 

SENIORS: Please advise us prior to booking if you are over 70 years old.

MINIMUM/MAXIMUM NUMBERS: Our holidays run with a minimum of four and maximum of ten guests.

 TRAVEL INFORMATION

Holidays run from Saturday to Saturday. We offer you the flexibility of making your own travel arrangements to Slovenia. We will meet the Saturday Easyjet flight from London Stansted to Ljubljana airport, and transport you to the hotel (which is about 50 minutes away), and this is included in your holiday price. We can prearrange a taxi (payable) to meet guests arriving on other flights to Ljubljana  If you are traveling from the UK,  the national carrier Adria flies from Gatwick and Manchester (the latter from May to September only). Ryanair also fly from Stansted to Klagenfurt, and to Trieste from Stansted and Birmingham,  but we regret we are unable to meet guests on these flights. Alternatively car hire is available at these airports, both approximately 2 hours away.
