TARIFF

 
2012 TARIFF for 7 nights virtually all inclusive* walking holiday (please see below for details), prices per person per week. Walking holidays in 2012 run from week commencing 28th April to week commencing 6th October 2012.

PLEASE NOTE: We aim to offer transparent pricing with NO ADD-ONS OR NASTY SURPRISES when you add up the cost of your holiday. When comparing our prices with other holiday companies (who generally charge extra for local transport, all drinks and lunches etc), please bear this in mind!

PAYMENT TERMS: To secure your reservation, a deposit of £150 per person per week is payable at the time of booking, the remainder being payable 8 weeks before departure. For reservations made less than 8 weeks before departure, the full holiday price is payable at time of booking. NB We regret all card payments incur a 3% surcharge, but it is possible to pay by bank transfer to our UK business account or by cheque with no charge.

 * WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF YOUR HOLIDAY:

Transportation to and from Ljubljana airport for the Saturday afternoon Easyjet Stansted to Ljubljana flight, (a taxi can be arranged to meet other flights (payable)

All local transport  for walking programme in our own air-conditioned minibus

Accompanied walks 5 days a week

Tea and coffee facilities in your room, together with biscuits and chocolates

Extensive breakfast, including cooked option.

5 lunches (packed or at the hotel)

Afternoon tea with home-made cake 

Aperitif, canapes and 3 course dinner 6 days a week

Quality house wine with dinner followed by house liqueurs

(Please note that the kitchen is closed one day per week (normally Wednesday) and lunch and dinner can be taken at a choice of local restaurants (not included)

Transport  to Skofja Loka on free day, with the possibility of continuing on to Ljubljana

Free WiFi internet access throughout hotel

Bathrobe for use during stay and a selection of luxury toiletries

All rooms have a DVD player, safe and hairdyer

Single occupancy of standard room

What’s not included:

Flights (or other transport) to and from Ljubljana airport, and airport transfers for flights other than the Saturday afternoon Easyjet Stansted to Ljubljana flight (taxi can be arranged on request) 

Drinks other than as stated above

Any admission charges

Extra meals, drinks and snacks taken while out 

Dinner one night a week when the restaurant is closed

Supplement for single occupancy of superior or deluxe double room

Bookings of less than a week, if available, have a 5% surcharge on the pro-rata daily rate

All card payments incur a 3% surcharge 

SPECIAL DIETS, FOOD ALLERGIES ETC

As we are just a husband and wife team we are now finding it almost impossible to cater for the increasing number and complexity of special restricted diets requested, (e.g. wheat or dairy free etc). From 2012, we regret that we will not be able to cater for these exclusion diets (other than vegetarian, which we always provide for). Please advise us at the time of booking of any  foods not eaten or we regret we may be unable to cater specifically for you when you are on holday.

FLOWER WALKING WEEK:  In 2012, the week commencing 12th May will be a flower walking week, so the walks will be slower and possibly slightly lower/easier to allow for finding, looking at and photographing wild flowers. 

GROUP BOOKINGS: For group bookings (8-10 people) please contact us for more details and tailor made options. 

SINGLE GUESTS: Please note: We warmly welcome solo travellers, and offer our Standard room (Lubnik) for single occupancy with no additional supplement. If you wish to stay in a Superior or Deluxe room there is a supplement of £20 per person per night.

CHILDREN: Please note we do not accept children under the age of 16 years, due to the nature of the hotel and the unsuitabliity of the walking for children.

MINIMUM/MAXIMUM NUMBERS: Our holidays run with a minimum of four and maximum of ten guests.

 TRAVEL INFORMATION

Holidays run from Saturday to Saturday. We offer you the flexibility of making your own travel arrangements to Slovenia. We will meet the Saturday Easyjet flights from London Stansted to Ljubljana airport, and transport you to the chalet (which is about 50 minutes away), and this is included in your holiday price. We can prearrange a taxi (payable) to meet guests arriving on other flights to Ljubljana  If you are traveling from the UK,  the national carrier Adria flies from Gatwick and Manchester (the latter from May to September only). Ryanair also fly from Stansted to Klagenfurt, and to Trieste from Stansted and Birmingham,  but we regret we are unable to meet guests on these flights, unless a whole group is booked on the same flight. Alternatively car hire is available at these airports, both approximately 2 hours away.
