Group Bookings
We are delighted to accept group bookings at any time of the year. Please contact us for details of charges, as there may be reductions for groups of more than 8 people. If you would like to enjoy the chalet for your own exclusive use, you are free to bring children of any age with you. We will happily discuss your requirements and plan a personalised itinerary for your party, which can include a different level of walks, or we can organise walks around an area of interest, eg flowers. If you prefer to do less (or no!) walking, we can also arrange a wide range of other activities and excursions to places of interest. Tennis, horse riding, mountain biking, rafting, fishing, golf, and paragliding are just some of the other activites available. Please note that our accompanied walks as described on this site are not suitable for children under the age of 12, although we can of course adapt these routes.
Alternatively, just use us as a base to explore Slovenia. Our local town, Škofja Loka, is the best preserved medieval town in Slovenia, and with Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj, and the capital Ljubljana all around an hour away, there is plenty to see and do! If you wish we can organise private car hire from Ljubljana airport to give you complete flexibility.
In the winter, downhill skiing at the small but interesting ski resort of Stari Vrh is only 3 minutes away, with slopes of all levels (blue, red and black). A new 6 man high speed lift whisks you up the mountain in just a few minutes, and during the week the slopes are generally very quiet. We are happy to arrange instruction with local instructors on request, and ski hire is also available locally. Other activities in winter include snowshoeing, sledging, and snowshoeing, and afterwards our steaming outdoor hot tub will soothe any aching muscles. Or why not just curl up in front of the fire with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate!
