End of 2012 season for Walk Slovenia holidays!

Well, another season has now ended! We had a great year for our 2012 walking holidays in Slovenia; we were over 96% full and have had lots of positive reviews both on TripAdvisor and from guests. We had great weather virtually all season, with hardly any rain and very warm weather which was a nice change for our guests from the UK this summer!! So we had some great walks in the foothills of the Julian Alps (on the sunny side of the Alps, as they say here!) and enjoyed seeing many previous guests return, some for the 4th time in as many years! It's lovely to see that Slovenia still amazes everyone for its beauty, peace and cleanliness and walking is of course the perfect way to appreciate all the wonderful pre Alpine countyside around the Skofja Loka hills.

Keith has just had his knee operation so hopefully will be able to do some of the walks next year, meanwhile we are researching some new walks to add to the programme as well as testing lots of new recipes.

We are already well over 50% full for 2013 with the Spring months almost completely fully booked, helped by a very positive and complimentary article published in the Financial Times in September (link to this on our homepage).

We would like to thank all our 2012 guests for their faith in choosing us for their precious holiday time and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting all of you! We are looking forward to seeing the many returning guests who have already re-booked once again for 2013 and we wish you all a lovely festive season.
